A community field day will be held in Cocoparra National Park to look out for the State listed vulnerable turquoise parrot.  This will be a great opportunity to learn about the turquoise parrot and the project that is underway.

The day will begin at the Binya Hall with a short presentation from wildlife ecologist and photographer Chris Tzaros.

After the presentation we will head off in search of turquoise parrots and nesting boxes.

This event forms part of Riverina Local Land Services Turquoise Parrot Habitat Enhancement project.

Bring drinking water and binoculars, wear sturdy enclosed footwear and a hat.

Free morning tea and picnic lunch.
